Psychic Spiral

Why this deck is awesome

This is a deck for the truly insane. The plan is to mill your entire graveyard and finish your opponent off with a single Psychic Spiral for maximum embarassment. You also get the added benefit of trolling your super creature heavy metagame by casting fog for every turn of the game. You can set up infinite fogs with Mystic Retrieval + Runic Repetition for what is also basically infinite mana. It doesn't come up that often, but I've won more than one game off of the back of it.

Memory's Journey + Runic Repetition ensures that you won't mill out. Your plan against aggro is fog every turn until you combo them. Against control your plan is to set up your critical turn by retreiving all of your negates so that you can win the countermagic war and mill them out. Nephalia Drownyard serves as your backup plan if for some reason your psychic spiral gets extracted. Laboratory Maniac out of the board is for the Rest in Peace decks that think your graveyard matters for game two. They usually side out all of their removal, and you can almost always mill your entire deck and win via this hilarious human. The singletons are in there for maximum troll value so I can tell my opponent they lost to my one-of.

This deck as I said for the truly insane, but seeing the look on your opponent's face as you kill them with Psychic Spiral is priceless. You're weak to Slaughter Games and a variety of other things, but at least this is a way to stretch some extra fun out of standard until Gatecrash is released.
